Client: Marshfield Public Schools
Scope: To create a district wide Active Directory, to facilitate central administration throughout the Marshfield Public Schools. Through implementation of this technology the IS staff could monitor and maintain multiple locations and servers remotely from The network operations center.
Solution: Utilized the existing Cisco routers that were being used for internet only and Configured them for a district wide WAN. Consolidated 6 individual NT 4 domains into 1 Windows 2000 Active directory. Collapsed 6 individual email servers and created 1 web based Exchange 2000 server. Setup Terminal services at all locations for Centralized administration. Configured Central VPN server for remote administration from home. All this was done using Microsoft Windows 2000, Exchange 2000 and terminal Services.
