Client: Brockton Public Schools - Plouffe, Arnone and Angelo Elementary Schools
Scope: To provide and install state of the art technology equipment and services optimized for the Elementary school environment. Able to support up to 500 clients with differing data resource needs including automated school management, automated Library management, automated lesson management, file and print sharing, Internet Access, Office Application tools, Electronic Mail and Network security.
Objectives: To provide a cost effective solution, with an on-time delivery for the opening of the school year and provide a turnkey single source of contact for all technology products, installation and support
Solution: The Ockers Company provided a turnkey solution which included Nortel Network Infrastructure, Compaq Proliant Servers, HP Printing Products and Acer Desktop Computers configured specifically for the Elementary education at the Brockton Elementary schools. This solution was based upon Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and 2000 workstation operating environment and was configured with the security issues of an elementary school in mind. We also provided liaison support for curriculum software installation with NCS Pearson Software Company. We also provided liaison support with Merrimack Education Collaborative for installation and configuration of internet and Email.
